Parent’s Evenings
Usually Miss Glen is available to see parents during parents evening. However, due to having to attend training Miss Glen will not be available. Mrs Martin will be available on Tuesday evening if you have a concern, or otherwise please contact the school office to arrange an appointment with Miss Glen. Due to late notice of an important meeting which Miss Golton and Mrs James need to attend, we have had to arrange that instead of Tuesday evening they will be doing Monday evening. We apologise if this causes you inconvenience regarding appointments when you have children in more than one class.
Mrs Upton, the special needs co-ordinator, will be available on Wednesday evening until 6.30 if any parents wish to see her.
“Superschools” Money
Following the fun of the “Superschools” afternoon we would like to inform you of the equipment purchased with the sponsor money that was kindly donated: 4 PE storage trolleys, a variety of balls to use in PE, a kwik cricket set, quoits, whistles, hoops, beanbags, netballs and 2 new netball posts. Thank you once again for your generous support.
Jigsaw Appeal
Year R 1 would like to make an appeal for any unwanted jigsaws.
The team are looking for good quality, complete jigsaws that are less than 100 pieces. If anyone has any to donate please could they be taken to Mrs Girton’s classroom.
Town Tales of Wincanton by Jenny Peet
We have copies of this book in the school office at a cost of £5.00, with £1 being donated to school funds. It is not a history book but an interesting collection of “real life” memories of how people have lived in Wincanton from the 1920’s onwards.
Yeovil Town Football coachingKS1 Craft Club
Craft club begins after half term with Mrs Nye. No more places are available. We hope those children attending have fun!!
Cuddly Reminder
A reminder that any unwanted cuddly toys need to be taken to Miss Golton’s classroom by next Friday 15th February as they need to be delivered over half term. Thank you.
